Itinerary

Set off from Kampala to Bwindi early in the morning at 6am. You will have a moment at the equator and then head to Mbarara where you will have your lunch.

Continue your journey to Bwindi. You will check in at the lodge in Bwindi and rest as you prepare for Gorilla trekking tomorrow. Travel time to Bwindi is around (9 hours).  You will be able to view beautiful farms, hills in the Western Region as you head to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Meal plan: Lunch and Dinner.

After your early morning breakfast, your guide will drive you to the Park Headquarters for briefing and joining others for briefing before heading into the forest for your gorilla trek. This trek can last for between 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on the location of mountain gorilla family on that particular day.

Once you find the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend time with them while observing their behaviour, as your guides tell you more about them, taking photographs before you return to the Park Headquarters for your certificate that confirms that you have tracked gorillas in Uganda.

Another bright day will start with a hefty breakfast, you prepare to set for another adventure in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Travel period is around 4 hours.

You will pass through Ishasha sector where you will have a chance to view climbing lions. You will check in at the lodge where you will be served with a warm lunch.

You will then have time for personal administration and then prepare for an evening game drive.

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Start the day with an early cup tea/coffee and a nice breakfast before embarking on a game drive along the Queen’s Mile plus the Kasenyi trail. On this trail you will see elephants, water bucks, lions, buffaloes, Uganda Kobs plus warthogs in addition to several birds. Return for breakfast plus lunch at the lodge.

In the afternoon, enjoy a 2 hour boat ride on the Kazinga Channel where you will encounter Buffaloes, Elephants, Hippos, crocodiles plus warthogs among others. This ride will also enable you to see an array of bird’s for example guinea fowl.

Later you will head back to the lodge for your dinner, rest and personal administration.

You can opt to visit Lake Katwe to watch salt mining and also view a series of flamingos.

After a full package of memorable experiences from the previous days, you will have a hefty breakfast as you prepare to hit the road for Kampala, Entebbe. You will pass through Fort Portal, have lunch and then continue to Kampala.
